Thellen Levy, Legal
I have been a practicing attorney since 1979. My practice is limited to consensual resolution of family law matters. I work with couples and individuals who are separating, and with couples and individuals who are planning to get married . I am personally and professionally committed to providing the highest quality legal representation, cost-effectively and with close attention to each client’s unique needs. I represent clients in both traditional and non-traditional families. I am trained as a mediator and collaborative lawyer.
I am an expert and mentor for the San Francisco Bar Association Volunteer Legal Services Program, a mediator with the Court of Appeal, First Appellate District Appellate Mediation Program, and serve as a Temporary Judge for the San Francisco Unified Family Court. I graduated from Golden Gate University School of Law and earned my B.A. from Bard College. I facilitate negotiations that aim to serve the interests of both parties; will look for ways to create value rather than simply to distribute it; and, though very experienced in litigation, am committed to searching for reasonable out-of-court solutions.
